Quick Makeup Tips

Thursday, October 8th, 2009

Are you the person who takes care of the house and cooks breakfast and reaches the office in time everyday? If you answer this question with yes, then I am going to ask you another question. Do you look good regularly? If this is another yes then I have to admit this is not something you need to go through. Because we are discussing few tips that can turn you into a dazzlingly beautiful face concealing the dark circles round the eyes and that ugly pimple mark on the cheeks within a short time of probably ten to fifteen minutes. And you are already a master of the maker up art.

Often women end up going out of the home bare face just because they can not manage some time to do their face after finishing all the daily chores and making others ready. But there are perhaps no women on the earth who will not like to outperform everyone else in the office or a party with her exceptional looks and beauty. So in order to make their dream come true we have shortlisted few of the make up techniques as the must dos before you step out of the home.

Before filling it with colors you should wash the canvas that is your face with a scrubby face wash which will save the extra time that you spend in washing and scrubbing separately. Use a foundation as the base make up and concealed if you have blemishes or spots on your face.

Now start with most noticeable part of your face, your eyes. If you are the owner of a dark eyebrow naturally then just brush them and if they are lighter then use an eyebrow pencil to darken them. Prefer using the light pastel shades of eye shadow if you are going out for office. For the parties the darker ones with golden sparkles are the best.

It is not really time-consuming if you are using that powder one as its merges quickly along your eyelids. Then border them with eyeliners which will enhance your eyes and make them look beautiful. You can use pencil eyeliner to cut short the time as the liquid ones take few minutes to dry.

Now it is the turn for your lips.

Before applying the lipstick do not forget to outline the lips with a pencil lip-liner. Prefer using the stick colors instead of the liquid lip colors if you are in a hurry. The matte look is perfect for office wherein a coat of lip-gloss will make your lips shine attractively in a party.

Apply a coat of blusher that suits you skin tone best, to give a finishing touch to that beautiful face. Now that you have the entire quick make up secrets up your sleeves, simply go ahead a stun others with that perfectly beautiful face.

Makeup – Some Do`s And Don`ts

Saturday, August 22nd, 2009

Make up is the best way to conceal all those minor flaws on your face. It also adds that extra dazzle to your personality that complements the exclusive dresses you wear in a party. But the secret for perfect make up is not to overdo it. The colors of the eye shadows, lipsticks and blushers should match your skin tone instead of making your face resemble a clown’s.

This does not mean that we are asking you to stop experimenting with your make up. But it is advisable not to do that when you are going to attend an important occasion. The best idea is to try out those different looks at home and ask the mirror which makes you look best.

The first step should be choosing your make up according to your features. Obviously there are few techniques and colors that suit all type of features.

Use those pastel shades especially various tones of pink in your make up as they suit all complexions. Teenagers are free to try out those offbeat colors like orange, gold and silver.

Always use a lip liner that is one shade darker than the color of your lips. Outline the lips along the original lines so that they do not look prominent. Put on two coats of lipstick in order to hide the cracks on the lips. Lip-gloss will add the perfect volume to your lips if they are comparatively thin.

Do not apply the foundation on your entire face. The color of the foundation should be accurately matching to your skin tone and able to conceal the spots and blemishes on the facial skin.

Tweezing the eyebrows is the best way to keep them shapely. But make sure that it should be done professionally without hampering that natural curve. You can use an eye pencil in order to highlight the eyebrows if they are light. But make sure they are not lined with a color that is darker than the original color of the hair. This will spoil the whole make up and make you look artificial.

You are free to use eyeliner to enhance your eyes. But pick up the mahogany or brown instead of the dark black one. Line the upper lid of the eye to get the best look. Often brown eye shadows are used as a substitute to an eye liner.

If your complexion is black then avoid using the light colored compact or foundations. Try to rub your face withy an ice cube before you put on any make up. This will reduce perspiration and make your make up last for longer while. Have faith on these dos and don’ts of make up and start of with your session.

Tips For Trendy Makeup

Tuesday, June 10th, 2008

Trends are something that is meant to change. If they stop changing the society will come to a standstill. There will be no variety left in the way we eat party and most importantly look. The art of make up has also gone through drastic changes in the past fifty years.

Marilyn Monroe used to do her in the trendiest way of her time. But if you follow the same make up techniques today you will surely end up being titled as an outdated person.

So the best way to look trendy is to acquire some knowledge about the latest make up trends and follow them religiously. Here is some information about the updates in make up techniques.

The first part in your face that draws attention of others is your eyes. Now-a-days fuller and darker eyebrows are in trend. They flaunt an ultimate feminine and haughty look at the same time which is really in fashion internationally.

If you are a trend conscious person then enhance your eyes with the natural black eyebrow pencils and use the translucent eyebrow definer that will add the desired darkness and volume to your eyebrows. Shades of violet and sapphire blue perfectly complement the lustrous eyebrows.

Lips are probably the most sensuous parts of your face. Proper lip make up can work magic to your looks. The matte look is not very trendy as of now. The intensity and moist look of a glossy lip color is being adored worldwide. In new trend the shades of crimson pink and slightly sheer pink are in.

Often a mixture of two lip colors can give your lips that artistic touch. Never forget to outline the lips with a lip liner that is one shade darker than your lipstick. Prefer brushes to apply the colors as they can give the nice finishing where the sticks fail.

The nail make up has undergone drastic changes as far as the colors are concerned. Those days are gone when pinks and reds were the only choice after an extensive manicure regime. The metallic shades have taken over the market. Graphite, silver, gold, platinum and chrome are the colors that are used to give that metallic look to your long nails.

How can we forget those magnificent nail tattoos that complement the nail enamels? In fact celebrities like Lindsay Lohan are endorsing these techniques to highlight their nails.

This is the age of concealing all the unwanted flaws that your skin has. The best way to do so is using a foundation that matches your skin tone as accurately as possible. So choose your foundation in open daylight so that you can estimate the accuracy of the shade. If yon color is beige then preferably a yellowish foundation is prescribed for you. Orange and peach are the colors for brown skins.

Keep these trendy advices in mind and let your looks stun the guys and make the girls jealous.
